Obamacare is now the law of the land with NO CHANCE of repeal. We missed that chance this election. Socialized medicine is the launch pad to hard socialism. There is no stopping it now. We missed the chance for repeal when the GOP-e nominated Romneycare as the standard bearer in March, not in November.

"1. If you remove black women from the notion that women overwhelmingly supported Obama, then you discover that Romney and Obama were about even on women. The black population voted 98% for Obama."
Is that true? I would really like to believe that. Do you have anything that supports that notion?
To: Tula Git
Sure, I’ve read it on one source yesterday, but look at the final vote and do some basic figuring.
60.2 million people voted for Obama.
57.5 million voted for Romney.
The black population is roughly 10% of the nation. That would equate to about 6 million black votes for Obama. Slightly more than half of those are female, but we’ll just say 3 million.
If we take 3 million votes away from Obama we have about 57 million, the same as Romney. That makes them roughly even on female votes.
So, why did those 3 million black women vote for Obama...because the black community in general believes in gay marriage and abortion? Or because it was black solidarity with a black candidate and their democratic entitlement party that serves as father-figure in fatherless homes?

Exactly. Well stated. There needs to be a consistent vision here.
Stop banning and throwing out true conservative activists that teach here on this site. Jim, when I first started coming here I got an education. So what if people argue, fuss and fight? There used to be a healthy exchange of ideas with CONSERVATISM as the core value.
Cry baby watered down loud mouthed RINO'S should get the boot. Keep the original vision and message. Please.

I agree. In hindsight, that is clearly true.
Still and all, it would only have taken Justice Roberts not to create law from whole cloth, and the entirety of Obamacare would have been thrown out.
I still wonder what they got on him that he created a tax that didn’t exist and was never in Obamacare or ever argued to be in it by either side. I hope Roberts enjoys his time in hell. Maybe sitting on Ted Kennedy’s lap.

Fully agree. When I hear talk of this person or that person in 2016 my head wants to explode.

Thank you CGVet58. Since I wrote that response here, the figures have changed. More votes were reported out.
The figures to this point are these:
Obama: 2008 69,498,215 2012 63,561,092 Drop: 8.54%
Repub: 2008 59,948,240 2012 59,684,096 Drop: 0.44%
Those numbers keep changing, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Romney vote eclipses the McCain vote in time.
That’s not to state that it shouldn’t have been more due to population expansion alone.
