I hope they take a serious look at a third party. Most voters I’ve talked to refuse to consider voting for a Green, Libertarian or other party, simply because they say it will impact the outcome of votes to one or the other candidate they don’t want to vote for anyway. A third party seems a lot better that “busting up the Union”.

Third parties won't be practical until we have a proportional electoral college. I pray for when that happens (winner-take-all EC is a prehistoric relic) but I'm not holding my breath, either.
