His public statement on his resignation complimented Obama for “graciously” accepting his resignation. I don’t think he behaved like a hero. The WP article indicated that he was trying to stay on as CIA Director.

I certainly hope he is giving interviews (off the record) of course, and speaking to “interested” parties in congress and has a “to be opened in the event of my ‘untimely death,’” letter with copies to people in whom he might be able to trust (and in DC, that wouldn’t include many.)
Rush would certainly give the man the time of day to let him get his side of the story out NOW before it's too late for him.
What he should do if they have threatened or blackmailed him is tell the Country EVERYTHING that they are holding over him, and how they threatened him and/or his family and/or loved ones, and how they would intend to carry out the threats. Use this to bust them wide open. If he tells the Country everything, then they can't hardly carry out anything against him, or his own. I think that if he has done anything wrong and admits it, so that they can't use it to keep him from testifying, he should get amnesty for saving the Country by exposing them for what and who they are. Even if he would go to jail because some things he has done are exposed in the process, it would still be the honorable thing to do. They couldn't any longer hurt his loved ones because everyone would know what actually happened to them.
Keep in mind, too, that Jesse Jackson, Jr. is in the midst of a plea deal with the FBI, et al, about trying to buy a senate seat in Ill. and other felonies. He might be about ready to dump on the administration.
Portrayus refused the money but took the nookie.He was only half hooked by Obama operatives. Now he will sing like a canary to the house oversight committee. Issa had better start demanding immediate testimony from Portrayus.
Obama had a hard time keeping a CIA director. Neon Leon Pinyata, the California Commie, lasted about 30 seconds.The problem is Obama micromanagement, he wants to be a super fascist thug rather than just a run of the mill fascist thug.

In high school, Paula excelled in the classroom and beyond, fulfilling a variety of leadership roles from homecoming queen to CHS and state student council president, from all-state basketball player to orchestra concert mistress, from AAU-Mars Milky Way All-American to valedictorian.
This passion directed toward excellence and a well-rounded education served Paula well as she advanced to West Point where she earned Dean’s List status and the honor of Class Secretary, all while graduating number one physically in her class. With a degree in Political Geography and Systems Engineering, Paula pursued a military intelligence career abroad, serving in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
During her service, especially after 9-11, Paula’s intensity was directed toward the war against terror; her contributions and efforts to thwart terrorism have been commended by the U.S. Army and by Europe’s Special Operations Forces Commanding General.
