Boehner Letter to GOP House (THE VALUE OF A MAJORITY)

....

THE PROBLEM

Warning signs are flashing on the dashboard for our party. Some of the problems are tactical in nature; others are strategic. We can’t ignore them and expect to assemble a winning electoral coalition in the future.

We need a state-of-the-art political infrastructure fueled by rock-solid data that can be relied upon to turn out voters when we need them in the places they’re needed most. We need accurate survey data, and technology in place that will ensure such data is put to use. And as I noted earlier, our strategy at all levels must be aimed at reaching potential voters from all walks of life. That doesn’t mean changing our principles; it means changing our approach.

There is a major, major problem with voter fraud.

Here in New York, because of the storm, anyone could walk into any precinct and vote. No id required, just needed to sign a statement saying they hadn’t voted before. No one checked to see if the person voted was even registered, a citizen, etc.

We already are known to the government through driver’s licenses, social security numbers, internet habits. It’s outrageous that our system is so laughingly lax...then we wonder why the dems keep winning.

I went to high school in Alabama. Huntsville High School, Class of ‘73. Never discount that Alabama education. :)

I understand what you are saying about your current position....but read carefully what I wrote to you. Plant the seed. Get out to those sites and plant the seed. FReepmail me if you wish to set up a central point of contact for them. We’ll take it from there.

It's unfortunate that Boehner imagines we can still get reasonably decent data ~ presumably polls and surveys.

For a variety of reasons, mostly Caller ID, only 9% of individuals called by pollsters ever respond.

Theoretically you could get something statistically valid out of that, but a reasonably well organized minority of homosexuals, feminazis or abortionists could make sure they always answered the polls ~ which would easily magnify their importants about 11X reality.

The age of polls is gone, and now we are back to Augury.

Everything Boehner said may or may not be relevant, but fur shur his old fashioned view of data, to wit polling, is simply wrong!

“Although not explicitly required by the Constitution”

This actually looks doable...

vs starting a war.

I will try to follow-up

When the GOP-E says, “That doesn’t mean changing our principles; it means changing our approach”, they MEAN, “Screw principles! We need to be like democrats and hand out goodies to win!”

Anyone who has seen Boehner in action knows his biggest regret is that he can’t openly campaign on principles that are just 1 deg different from Obama. If Obama is heading left on a heading of 270, Boehner wants to head left on a heading of 271.

Boehner, I am afraid, wouldn’t know a new strategy if he hit it with his golf club. He sure as anything wouldn’t know new technology. Empty words.

Boehnerism is the reason for the demise of America. He symbolizes filth, treason and spinelissness. Until we rid ourselves the elitists we will be forever enslaved.

Want to make a difference...save your money for Christmas. I will not be buying a thing. If we continue to do the same thing over and over nothing changes.

Thanks. On my previous post to you, I wrote, “Those who are “represented” by Graham and McCain will be on the same side as the rats on amnesty.”

I meant to say that it won’t do any good to ask Graham and McCain to vote against Boehner, because they want him to push amnesty. That does not cast blame on those who are misrepresented by them.

I should of added “FLAME AWAY” to the post.

Holy cow

I think Boehner is a good guy but the perception of him along the rank and file is terrible... not one good post.

I think ya all liked Pelosi better... wait wait let me duck.

No flames here. I think Boehner is playing the best game he can play with the shitty cards that have been dealt to him. He basically said he’s going to use the power of the purse on Obamacare. Works for me. He reiterated his comittement to not raising taxes. That works for me too. Some folks won’t be happy unless he sets the country on fire.

“The value of a majority lies not in the opportunity to wield great power,” I said, “but in the chance to use limited power to do great things.”

Tell that to the Democrats, John. (AKA Lieutenant Noballs)
