This sounds weird.

Why not mix Coke with Metamucil. Same idea?

Fabulous. Another new way to be poisoned. Don’t you just love it when our food and drink is loaded up with chemicals and untried “natural” substances?

Moochelle approved, but apparently not widely (har!) used...

Cheers!

Japanese women are very concerned about not gaining weight. I have hosted a number of Japanese college students in our home in the past 8 years, and it is common for them to restrict their food intake and put off eating. I only had one who liked to exercise a lot to keep within weight. The others just preferred to eat very little. I only had one who was overweight, and one who knew she would gain weight here, but didn’t care because she really liked American food and figured she would lose it when she went home.

Japanese women may be petite, but it’s as much training as nature, as far as I can tell. Also, I have read that they are selling bra sizes over there that they have never had to carry before because they are starting to eat more and gain weight.

In short, they’d love a way to keep their weight down without having to eat less and exercise more.

The best tasting sodas still use actual real sugar - like they all used to - instead of high fructose corn syrup. I still get coke with sugar around hannukah, when they produce special batches. Pepsi now also as a version of regular soda with real sugar too.

Suprised konjac isn’t helping keep their weight down.

There are those who get systemic symptoms traceable to the ingestion of high fructose corn syrup.

Maybe they do it at home, but nobody seems to have brought dietary supplements to my house, that I know of.
