The left’s objective is to destroy the private sphere in its entirety. The family is part of the private sphere, as is religion and even private enterprise and private property.
Without the private sphere and its network of privacies, so to speak, we become a random assortment of economic cogs that are entirely at the disposal of the government. And this is exactly what the left has always wanted.
Naturally, those at the top live differently, and they are entitled to their own families, their own wealth and anything else they want.
Stripping the private sphere makes the citizenry completely vulnerable.
The author manages to eloquently "nutshell" a good deal of what's hobbling America in just a few paragraphs.
Says it all. Destroy the family and you destroy America. Big government policies(plus modern culture) have destroyed the family. And now big-government politicians are the only beneficiaries of the damage they have wrought. A crime against humanity if there ever was one.
One of the best descriptions of today’s society I have read. The only point he misses is that not only have we replaced the family with government, we have replaced God with the government. Gone is the idea that we will ultimately have to answer to God for the way out behavior compares to eternal and unchanging moral standards. Instead we get “if it feels good, do it”. And we marvel that society has fallen apart?

hetero = bigot
abortion = good

Good article. The ‘Rat party is a coalition of anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-life, anti-individual collectives. DEFUND the (socialist/totalitarian) collectives, foreign, domestic, state, local. DEPOPULATE socialists/totalitarians from the body politic and your life.
Obama and the socialists were shut out 8-0 in this collective of adults (my family). There are small battles every day in the big war. Seize the day. Every day. You should hear the stories we exchange when we decide to do battle. Lots of laughs, facepalms, snickers and walkaways.
It’s been working out very well the last 4 years. Non-essential spending is at a minimum. Immediate family gatherings have increased. Philosophies of freedom and faith are discussed regularly and grow stronger. Everybody is working and receiving awards/raises/accolades. Everyone is trained for using firearms. We are healthy, cohesive, coherent and have never been stronger. Life in this collective of family is FANTASTIC!

We do have far too many fatherless homes and never do we stop and think of what we are giving up. Father’s teach their sons to be men and protect the innocence of their daughters. As a woman, I love the fact that men are in the world and have a deep appreciation for what they offer to life, love, and progress.
