Of course the right may not be but the politicians are. They are talking higher taxes, amnesty, Obamacare and aren't talking reforming runaway entitlement spending.

Wow. I guess the writer is looking for the peripheral fluff you hear in campaigns.

Conservative ideas are very simple. The main idea is to roll back all the programs that have no constitutional basis. That’s a tall order, and should proceed a little at a time, because there’s no way to chainsaw the whole shootin’ match all at once.

A better question is what are the liberal ideas that actually work and are sustainable. Crickets.

Conservatism is the engine that produces the money liberals spend. When conservatism is gone, liberals will be looking out their rear ends, wondering what the heck happened to all that money.
