But as I said repeatedly, if people don’t think that we did everything we can to make sure that we saved the lives of folks who I sent there, and who were carrying out missions on behalf of the United States, then you don’t know how our Defense Department thinks or our State Department thinks or our CIA thinks. Their number one priority is obviously to protect American lives. That’s what our job is.

Mark: That has never been admitted before! It was assumed, but never admitted by the WH, to my knowledge.

The corollary to this admission is that the WH gave her her talking points OR directed her to where she should pick up her talking points. After all, why should anyone assume she knew anything about Benghazi, other than what any citizen would have picked up in the press.

BTW:

Both McCain & Graham make a critical point in their presser. Not only will we not know what info is presented at these closed hearings (except for leaks), but each hearing will not know what was presented at the other hearings.

The Congressmen on each of these 3 committees will have no idea what was testified to in the committee hearings they weren’t allowed to attend.

Called it “stove-piping.” Pointed out that if each hearing yields testimony blaming the other dept (CIA, DoD, State), no one will ever know.

Without a mechanism/OPEN investigation that bridges stove-piping, Congress, the press (i.e., FOX), and the public will only be able to rely on “leaks” and dis-info.

If left to stand, that point alone ensures Benghazi will be buried.

It appears that it also erased his gray hair.

Appearing in the East Room Wednesday for his post-election press conference, the chatty Obama displayed a head of rich, black hair.

Photos and even the White House live stream of the session showed no more gray.

But just a week ago, at the end of his campaign, the president had a head of salt and pepper hair with lots more gray.

I just finished listening to the replay of tonight’s show. Hannity shows up for the final couple of minutes. Not one single word about Hannity’s evolved position on amnesty for illegal aliens. UNBELIEVABLE.
