Below is a p/r release about a Ways and Means Committee investigation. It is routine that Cabinet Secretaries testify before Congress — but it is sort of interesting that she was subpoenaed (per the release) and is not voluntarily appearing. I don’t know if the Committee first asked her to appear voluntarily and she said no so that they then served her with a subpoena — or whether they subpoenaed her without first asking for a voluntary appearance.
