Thinking out loud here. Petraeus is said to have followed the company line in September. If true, not only did Broadwell contradict the admin on 10/26, she contradicted Petraeus, her ex lover, in a very public way.
Not sure what it means or if it means anything. Just something to keep in mind.
IMO, Broadwell’s 10/26 speech intended to send a message.
“The challenging thing for General Petraeus is that in his new position he is not allowed to communicate with the press.”
