Wrong on both counts.
It was neither the break-in nor the cover-up that "got" Nixon.
It was the interest of the leftist Big Media to destroy Nixon that "got" Nixon. If leftist Big Media had supported Nixon, the whole incident would have been brushed under the rug.
Now ... leftist Big Media supports 0bama utterly and completely. Big Media is doing everything it can to distract from Benghazi, to cover up Benghazi, and to protect 0bama from receiving any blame for Benghazi.
Benghazi was and is 0bama's catastrophic failure, from beginning to end. So what is Big Media talking about?

I don’t disagree about Nixon or the Media. Pravda. But, one can hope, can’t one?
I refer you to the Kennedy assassination. Kennedy was having an affair with a communist spy. This was at a time when our country really feared the communists. The press overlooked Kennedy’s other affairs, but with a communist spy? That was getting ready to explode all over the media. Kennedy goes to Texas, home of LBJ, and gets assassinated. His assassin somehow manages to be murdered on tv by a man dying of cancer. LBJ becomes President. Kennedy goes from being completely dishonored and costing the Democrats elections for decades to being a hero. If it gets bad enough, the Democrat leadership and the old media will do whatever they have to do to protect the Democrat party.
