Not to make excuses for Cantor here but one has to ask....if he knew before the election, what was the upside for him talking about it?
What was the downside? I think the downside for Cantor was considerable. He would be painted as a heretic or worse for attacking our wonderful pResident. He was a liar etc. you know the drill.
It’s hard to get inside somebody’s head on things like this. Maybe they have something on Cantor....who knows.
Well, you may have something there. Good point. And, of course, the real scandal remains Benghazigate, anyway, not Petraeus’s sex life.
Do you think that if the tables were turned, and a DIM congresscritter had similar information on a sitting Republican president, there would have been any hesitation to release it?
