Looks like the season starts off with the 75 lap race “The Sprint Unlimited” at Daytona Beach on Saturday, February 16th then the Duels will follow on Thursday afternoon, February 21st. Sure is a lot of talk about the new Gen 6 car; it’s going to take me a few races to catch up with the changes in car drivers & numbers.

I need to get a slide scanner. I have lots of photos of bighorn sheep and elk that I stalked with a 35mm camera and a lomg lens. I have gotten really close to bighorns. So close that the head filled the whole frame. The first picture of a young mountain goat was at about 13,000 ft elevation between Durango and Silverton, Colorado. He was playing on top of a boulder that was about 7 ft high. I snuck up under him and made a noise and snapped his picture when he looked over the edge. I reached up to see if I could touch him and he tried to stomp my hand with his hoof! I know he has to be distantly related to tubebender.
