Knowing the area my take is the talent show included urban rappers. The 18 year old named is from a problem black neighborhood. The Globe won't report the race of black troublemakers. The rapper followers likely decided to assert themselves amongst the largely whitey and Hispanic student population. The school is in a highly liberal town. The other posters laying it on the queers are missing the point of the story. Diversity is a code work for color. Tolerance is the code word for queers.

diversity= less qualified getting jobs based on race or if they’re muslim.
diversity= turd pokers and strap on wearers demanding special rights based on how they have their unhealthy sex.
diversity= anything not white or Christian.

basically diversity, =racist towards white Christians and then I just saw Ailes now run a diversity program for fox because he wants less whites to be on TV and would rather see color.
