Look at the light on the hair of Malcom x and the hair of the woman he is next to, then look at the light on the two men stage left and right.Compare that difference in terms of lighht shgining on their heads. This can’t be a genuine photo, whether authenticated or not.If you look at the photo immediately preceding that one at the getty site, you will see a more pronounced difference.Tghe background has an entorely differnet light source as well, so much so that it looks like a painted on stage set.

The leftist black power nationalists have been up to this for years. The original image may have been authenticated, but this one is not, the background and the figures are from different photos IMHO. The figures are cut outs.

BTW, I love your photos, but this one is surreal.

I did read that comment, it's what I have been replying to, you appear to be saying that the people in the image were NOT there, you say they look like cut-outs. In other words, you seem to be suggesting that MX was not at Oxford, and 'they' mysteriously had to place him there. Sorry, it just doesn't make sense. If he was never at Oxford and it it wasn't so well recorded that he was, THEN I might think it's possible he and his companions were super-imposed onto a false background. But he was there, and that he was hosted by Abrahams is indisputably recorded. So I just to not see the point.
