Fox News self-described liberal political analyst Kirsten Powers tore into President Barack Obama‘s full-throated defense of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice over her response to the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Unlike the conservative critics who take issue with Obama’s defense for obvious reason, Powers was offended by it because of what she believes was a “sexist” tone.
In her Fox News column, Powers described the president’s performance as “bizarrely” casting Rice “as some delicate flower the boys should stop picking on” for her post-Benghazi comments. “There is no damsel in distress and Obama’s paternalistic bravado in defense of a top administration official is going to come back to haunt him,” Powers wrote.
The Democratic analyst took particular exception with Obama characterizing Rice as “an easy target,” writing that “it’s absurd and chauvinistic for Obama to talk about the woman he thinks should be Secretary of State of the United States as if she needs the big strong man to come to her defense because a couple of Senators are criticizing her.”
She continued: “The conceit of Obama’s argument is that people are picking on a helpless girl — a lowly U.N. ambassador — because they are afraid of the big bad president. Oh, please.”
Republicans should make Ubama call his bluff and start aiming their attacks at him.
The whole affair is ludicrous. He sent her out to lie for him, and now he’s going to ride to her rescue and save her from the bad men who are calling her a liar?
They were mum about Bill Clinton.

I saw a group of lib female House and Senate members hold a presser on Ms Rice’s behalf...C-span replayed it over and over...in which they played the victim card and the big, bad, male, white, Republican card.

Kirston has “seen the lion and heard the owl..” She is obviously a woman of integrity and courage..It is not easy to confront the vicious political and media powers that be.
She does not bow to having someone tell her she did not see what she just saw. The lies have gotten that bad. I once heard of a situation where a woman walked into her house and witnessed her husband having sex with another woman. Both began trying to convince her that she was hallucinating. What is going on day in and day out from our left wing media is no different than that. We are getting ready to see whether 50% of Americans are going to take this farce.
An excellent reminder for use when debating a Dim on the so-called “War On Women”. It doesn’t get uglier (in many respects) than that cartoon.

Yes, she shows flashes of sanity from time to time. I always have had this fatal attraction to liberal women. I am sure that she would just tear out my heart and do the Mexican hat dance on it. Probably, just as well that our lives never intersected.
If she is so weak and helpless that she can’t handle the critisism coming her way over this then there is no doubt she is not strong enough to be a Sec. of State. !!
As for Ms. Powers...she’s too smart and beautiful to be a Democrat - she was born into it as her mother worked for the mysoginist-in-chief, but I suspect she isn’t as leftist as she portrays herself to be...it is her job after all.
