Palin gave us Ted Cruz and Deb Fischer this cycle.
Palin’s candidate (Sarah Steelman, I wonder how different 2012 would have been with her?) lost to Ted Akins in the Missouri primary though, Palin had about 14 campaigns she endorsed and at least 8 victories.

(The only Senate seat GOP pick up was the Palin endorsed Deb FischerÂ’s successful run in Nebraska)

Thanks for the clarification. Never made sense to me that a R dominated legislature would do that. Amazing how it always works in one direction only.

Yup. Not to mention those "Independent" redistricting boards in AZ & CA, which always remarkably manages to draw scores of Democrat seats. In Republican AZ, the Dems will have a 5D-4R majority in January (currently 5R-3D) and in CA, we will have apparently 15(!) seats out of 53 in CA (down from 19). Real representative, yessir.

Steelman lost, at least in part, because she had sold her soul to the trial layers.

It’s too bad the tea party candidate lost, Akin didn’t work out so well.
