I am glad the shooter was able to defend himself, but it is his own fault that he was in such danger. Needs to live his life in a more honorable way.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I had a similar incident when I was 20ish. I was at a nice area of Dallas with bars, clubs, theaters, etc. with a good buddy and two very attractive girls who were just friends of ours. A car pulled up with three girls inside and they asked me to join them. While very tempting, I thought better about winding up mugged or dead. I don’t really believe anything would have happened, but “momma didn’t raise no fool.”

The guy in the article was a fool letting his little brain override his big brain for the possibility of some T&A. The bad guys got what they deserved, but he was lucky he didn’t end up in a ditch.
