Islamic Jihad deputy chief Ziyad Nahala said on Sunday in an interview with Egyptian television that all of the organization's weapons came from Iran.

“I want to note that all our weapons are from Iran. The rockets fired into Israel until now have a range of 70 to 80 kilometers," he said, according to a report on Channel 10 News.

The problems for me are Iran’s willingness to provide these weapons, and the fact that it has missiles with a lot longer range.

Then there’s the issue of chemical weaponry.

It’s only a matter of time.

This and Iran’s moves to obtain nuclear weapons, is going to draw Israel’s severe wrath sooner or later.

Never thought about it before. But could this be the Iranians trying to buy time. With the Gaza strip exploding, Israel is concentrating it. It may be a attempt to buy time to finish their weapons program.

Iran is using Hamas as a proxy to determine how effective the Iron Dome system is , how to overwhelm it and to use up as much precious Iron Dome munitions resources as it can in the current diversionary actions . The simpleton Palestinian casualties are merely the cannon fodder callously used to gain perceived propaganda victories , as an ancillary effect .
Israel’s best strategy would be to retaliate so devastatingly to Hamas attacks that they will never risk such a wrathful response again , nor will the be many survivors to further act as aggressors. Israel should make public a nuclear weapons target list that contains the capitals of all the surrounding states that threaten it ; including Iran , Turkey , Egypt and Syria . It should include Mecca and Medina for good measure . It should clearly state that if attacked by all , all will lose far more than they can ever afford to lose . Including Mecca . This should be Bibi’s red line in the sand .

Could be.

What it may result in though, is a triggering of Israel’s preventative measures.

We’ll see in time.

Though I am not an expert in Mideast affairs, I do play one on the intarwebs.

Add Barry's reelect to that and I'd say we'll see something remarkable before the next Arab Spring.

Well after reading your post, I think you’re still doing a good job of playing an expert in Mideast affairs, on the intarwebs.

Another-words, I agree...

I'd say we'll probably see in short time D1. When they said 36 hours, they meant it.

I agree with your comments regarding the 36 hour deadline. When I posted the above, I was thinking of direct actions against Iran (nuclear program et al). A this point I'm not sure if that was contextually clear. Sorry if it wasn't.
