Take control of your local school board. Do not let a meeting go by without your presence. Then start on your state legislature and get them to ban the hiring of education degrees. For K-6 hire high school grads with a 3.0 or better GPA. Prior to a public school system they did better than the current ed degrees are doing now. For high school, hire BS or BA degrees. Finally, never let a socialist of any variety near a child.
Public education is an immoral system of propagandizing started at the point of the gun and it has ever been so. Trying to reform it is trading one master for another.
