Unfortunately you will not be kept alive for long in a nursing home. Dehydration. It’s happening now. They tell the family it’s a very comfortable alternative.

Not nonsense. I’ve seen hydration witheld four times in my own family-once by a nursing home, once by a hospital and twice by hospice care. In all three cases the decision-maker (not me) was told that it was to “alleviate suffering” and “hasten the inevitable.” Three of those relatives were aware and communicative whent the decision was made, but nobody asked them.

You think it's nonsense that dehydration is being used every day in nursing homes and hospice? You are very fortunate that no one in your family has experienced this miserable way to hasten death. Very fortunate.
