Andrew Cuomo, fake Democrat

New York's governor might lead his party in 2016. So why won't he fight for a state Senate majority they earned?

If the New York state Senate remains controlled by the Republican Party, it won’t be because of the voters. Democrats have 30 seats, with 32 required for a majority. They’re also ahead in two races currently being recounted. Simcha Felder, who won a Senate seat on the Democratic and Conservative Party lines in Brooklyn, has already announced that he will caucus with the Republicans. If the Democrats end up with a majority, there is a good chance a bunch of conservative Democrats will switch parties to ensure that the GOP retains control. One guy who’s staying conspicuously out of the fight: Democratic governor and 2016 presidential contender Andrew Cuomo.

That says Albany County abseetees have put the rat back in the lead. Her name is Tkaczyk (pronounced Ka-Chick).

I smell larceny.

My only concern about Tom McClintock running for ‘16 POTUS is that too many people will make fun of his “lazy eyes” to the point that he ends up losing! I’m not kidding. Despite this, Tom McClintock is one of my favorite politicians, too.

I had seen that Richmond County (Staten Island) had reported 49.9% Obama to 49.1% Romney, but it was with only 135,000 votes in, and I assumed that there were still absentees and such remaining to be counted (the county had cast 160,000 votes in 2004 and 166,000 in 2008). Did the hurricane really reduce turnout by 15%-20%?

Richmond County voted for Gore in 2000, Bush in 2004, McCain in 2008 and Obama in 2012. Did any other county do that?

OK, I did the research. Richmond County, NY (Staten Island) was one of only 9 counties to have voted for McCain in 2008 and for Obama in 2012:

Chaffee County, CO
Early County, GA
Woodbury County, IA
Franklin County, KY
Somerset County, MD
Warren County, MS
Richmond County, NY
Nash County, NC
Darlington County, SC

Of those 9 counties, 3 previously had voted for Gore in 2000 and Bush in 2004:

Franklin County, KY
Somerset County, MD
Richmond County, NY

Somerset County (in the southern part of MD’s Eastern Shore) was most similar to Richmond County in that it had voted for Bush in 2004 by a wide margin and narrowly for the other three; Franklin County (Frankfort) voted narrowly for the winning candidate all four times.

Santorum came in second by a good margin. It the loser RINO GINGRICH we can thank for Romney’s easy coronation.

Newt was leading Mitt by a wide margin in the polls in December 2011. That's when the media and the RINOs began to push Santorum.

So what? So did Perry before he destroyed himself.

Screw what happened before the voting started. When it did Newt got Jack in Iowa and NH. Then he won South Carolina. Then he attacked Romney as an evil rich guy, then he tanked and lost Florida, then his campaign was DEAD yet he stayed in the race and helped Romney win key states by narrow plurality. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL.

I knew it was a very small number of counties that switched to Obama.

Gore/Bush/McCain/Obama is such a queer combo I’m surprised there are even 3 of them.

Somerset MD and Franklin (Frankfort) Kentucky can be explained by even bigger Black turnout than 2008 and Staten Island by the hurricane. It would does not surprise me turnout was so low there, I hear that place was Katrinaed but good.
