We’re going to win next time by going negative and making the Democrat seem like an unacceptable option on a personal, emotional level. Our two most recent popular vote victories were won this way, against Kerry and Dukakis. The small percentage of swing voters who come out for presidential elections are simply too dimwitted to understand anything else. We lose presidential elections when we’re nice. We need to realize politics is a non-violent war, and be just as mean and nasty as we would be to any enemy in war.

I have followed Tom McClintock for a number of years, and few actual politicians impress me like him. He’s a straight talking fiscal conservative that understands California politics, and fiscal issues and sanity in general. Listened to him many a time on Barbara Simpson’s program. California is missing on this guy. He’s the real deal.
