Bullshit! He won in Florida because of vote fraud. Nothing more, nothing less.
No putz prez bo won FL because of all of the what happens behind closed doors does not bother me votes.
Yes, this is such a lie, he won because of the Latino vote.
He won it by default, since Romney didn't even bother to campaign in Florida for their vote.
Of course, if he had bothered to campaign for the Latino vote they would have asked questions whose answers he did not want to give publicity to, so I guess he did the smart thing.
Notice how gay folk tend to congregate near the coast?
Why is that?
Yep, all those fraudulent votes.
I call BS. Gays have long over estimated their strength as a way of gaining influence. Florida was ALL about fraud.
The one demographic that likes it up the A. Makes sense.
So what are the Republican governor and SoS doing to rectify this?
To the best of my knowledge, not a damn thing.
Firstthe quoted source is a "Progressive" Miami rag that most (here) would reject its content.
Secondly, Republicans did very well in Governor races.
The national model provided by NYTs Nate Silver pointed to the races in which to concentrate DemoRat fraud.
Republicans (conservatives) reject a candidate who doesnt match their views 100% on all issues. So if they disagree with him on a single issue, they stay home. Negative. Ive never been able to figure out what this is supposed to accomplish, except to perpetually had the reins of power to the other side.
So, so true, and so rarely stated. This is the reason for Republican electoral defeats!
Kudos!
math that the pretend purists cannot even vaguely comprehend
Polls show that gays make up less than 3% of the national population. Divide that by 50 for one state. How can that small number be the reason for any election to won?
The same can be said for the African-American vote. They are about 16% of the national population, yet news stories imply that they turned out more than whites. As a percentage that might be true, but not in absolute numbers. There aren't enough of them to counter the "white" vote.
Also, if all these minorities are being cited as being the decisive reason for Obama winning, then how can anyone argue that requiring an ID to vote would suppress minority turnout when they are already turning out in record numbers?

What do such voters accomplish? A misguided sense of moral superiority.
You see it here frequently: "Yeah, we got Obama again, but at least I didn't vote for that @#$^% Romney!", or words to that effect.
Such moral absolutists -- single issue, or even 2 or 3 issue, stay-at-homers -- are a definite roadblock to conservative victories. Politics is all about choosing the candidate who most closely matches your own ideas and then supporting him/her strongly! Staying at home and pouting over the 10% (or even 40%) of a candidate's mis-match is a vote for the other guy, who's a 90% mis-match!
As Reagan said: The person who agrees with you 80% of the time is a friend and an ally, not a 20% traitor!
Those who hated Romney and would have rather had Newt should note that Newt campaigned his butt off for Romney after he won the primaries. That's the right way!
Well, to be fair, Romney probably had bad breath.
