“Today’s Americans think Congress has the constitutional authority to do anything upon which they can get a majority vote.”

Why do they think that? How did that come about? The Framers predicted such an outcome. The Framers said “If the people do X, then the G. will grossly overstep its bounds.”

What was X? Bueller?

I don’t see the win as majority rule. I see what one called Soviet style Propaganda. The great giveaway of the treasury to obama’s wall street buddies in all sorts of graft helped. $3T to someone offshore without accounting for it. Then there were many voting fraud reports. Is this the Daily pattern of politics or Al Capone”

If you want the system to work as intended you have to go back to the original design.

Repeal the 17th Amendment and the country will take an amazing turn for the better in short order. As it stands now Senators care about their national party affiliation, not their state. That's not what the founders had in mind and without the State legislature having control of the state Senators the system doesn't work as intended.

Dr. Williams should be aware that the very same Bay Area techies who engineered Obama’s turnout machine are dreaming of the day where all important decisions in this country can be put to an instant Twitter Plebiscite.
