They didn’t start it in the sixties. The roots of progressivism i.e. socialism go back much further than that. Read Jonah Goldberg’s “Liberal Fascism” to get idea of the beginnings of the socialist movement in the U.S.

That is true, but I am talking about the anti-social brand of radicalism that we first saw in the Sixties as described by David Horowitz.
