Police were forced to arrest a dozen union members today after an Service Employees International Union protest around Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which shut down traffic completely and added 90 minutes to travellers’ commute time, went awry. SEIU workers handed out fliers to passengers at LAX, marched near the LAX entrance, and ignored police orders to disperse at 1:15 p.m.

The rage on the ground at LAX was palpable as Americans simply tried to get to loved ones for the Thanksgiving weekend.

If any of the protestors work at LAX, they have violated their work agreement with LAX. FIRE Them! There are lots of unemployed people that would love their job! For the others, let them rot in jail for a week.

If you support unions, you support this behavior
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
They are reporting locally (DC Metro) that some union goons in MD are already disrupting WALMART....Walmart says they have a contingency plan.

The only feasible plan would be FIRE the strikers on the spot and waste no time shutting down a store....

Take all the ‘cheap prices’ from the neighborhoods and the folks will ‘turn’ on the goons.

OUR job is to let the masses know they are getting screwed.

They will not hear of it anywhere else...

C’mon, people! Get your heads out of your ****!

We WANT them to shut down LAX. As soon as the cretins who voted for OBUMMER get discomfited the better.

Starve the beast.

Death of a thousand cuts to the infrastructure and bureaucracy.

“the most you can hold someone is 48-72 hours.”

L.A. has enough police stations that they can release and re arrest them after 71 hours and move them to another station thereby keeping themn indefinatly without booking them!

I had it happen to an employee of mine that gave the Sheriffs a bad time and the only way I found him was a narc friend of mine on the department found him for me.

They had held him for a week without booking him!

I strongly believe in people’s right to voice their opinion but when you infringe on other people’s rights, particularly at this time of the year, the National Guard should have moved in immediately and corralled these people in an area out of the main traffic artery.

Way back in they day I had a friend arrested on a holiday weekend for DUI and he was held for 3-4 days until the following Monday. I believe he was arrested on a New Years Eve that fell on a Thursday night, thus the courts were closed on Friday so he wasn't released until he saw a judge on Monday afternoon as the courts were jammed with holiday DUI drivers. I believe he spent over 80 hours in custody, but this was over 35 years ago so I may not be 100% on the details.

I’d like to see a group of SEIU pukes tarred and feathered and then that footage widely distributed wet wide as the acceptable way to deal with Union thugs

Hard to say. They’re both violent, ignorant, unwashed, and insane.

Police were “forced” to arrest?

WTH does that even mean? Police were forced to do their jobs? Oh, I get it, they had to arrest their Union Buddies.

I’m sure there were many tears shed as they hugged them before placing them in their Taxpayer funded Police Cars.

This Country is so gone...

Wow, he’s not reporting what actually went on.

They were protesting an aviation company who threw the union out and created they own agreement for higher pay and better benefits. This union had NO business being there as they were dumped by the employees for whom they were supposedly protesting for.

Also, LAPD granted the SEIU permits to hold their demonstration. Which block traffic at Sepulveda and Century (the main route into LAX) Same police force which is threating to lay police off unless we vote them another tax increase. Start with laying off the ahole who granted this permit.

Finally, a congress critter from LA spoke at their protest about health benefits. OMG, I am so sick of these sanctamonious bitches acting like they care. Theives, every damned one of them. Hope I live long enough to see the slaves rise up against all of this crap.

Anyone who misses their plane ride home for Thanksgiving because of these lazy greedy schlubs is going to hate union goons for the rest of their life. What on Earth are they trying to accomplish here?
