Planned Parenthood Tries to Hide Botched Abortion From 911

Planned Parenthood has botched another abortion on a woman, this time in Indianapolis, Indiana. After injuring the woman, staffers at the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic attempted to hide the failed abortion from emergency dispatchers.

An ambulance was called to transport a woman in the middle of a second-trimester abortion to the hospital from a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Indianapolis on November 2 after the abortion practitioner refused to continue the abortion. The emergency was classified a Priority E, which reserved for the most severe cases, according to information Operation Rescue provided LifeNews today.

This is the seventeenth medical emergency documented by Operation Rescue at Planned Parenthood abortion clinics since January, 2011.

The pro-life group obtained the 911 recording and Computer Aided Dispatch transcript of the incident where a female caller is heard evading the dispatcher’s questions about the condition of the woman, who was in her fourteenth week of pregnancy. The dispatcher was forced to ask the Planned Parenthood employee four times what was wrong with the patient.

The transcript of the call Operation Rescue provided LifeNews reads:

Dispatcher: Dispatcher: Ma’am, can you be specific? What’s the problem with the patient? Is the patient conscious? Planned Parenthood Caller: Yes. Dispatcher: Is the patient breathing okay? Planned Parenthood Caller: Yes, she’s fine. Dispatcher: Okay, then what does she need the ambulance for?

The Planned Parenthood employee finally told the dispatcher that a woman was in the middle of an abortion when the abortion practitioner “couldn’t do the procedure.” The patient had been given misoprostol and was suffering from cramping and sharp pains.

Misoprostol, also known as Cytotec, is a drug developed to treat ulcers, which is often mis-used in abortions against the manufacture’s warnings because it has the side effect of inducing uterine contractions.

“The record shows that a Planned Parenthood patient was in active labor and in the middle of a risky second trimester abortion when the abortionist stopped the procedure and called for emergency transport. Because of the evasiveness of the caller, almost anything could have happened to that woman, but one thing is obvious; her life was in danger,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation. “This certainly warrants further investigation by the appropriate authorities.”

Newman said the rash of abortion emergencies at Planned Parenthood clinics calls into question the safety of the abortion facilities and whether they should continue to receive an estimated nearly half a billion dollars in local, state, and Federal funding annually.

“The incidents that we have documented, including the tragic late-term abortion-death of Tonya Reaves last July, are only a fraction of the actual abortion complications, most of which occur in secret,” said Newman.

He added: “Planned Parenthood abortion clinics may be located in nice buildings, but the abortionists who work in them are bottom-of-the-barrel hacks that more closely resemble their back alley counterparts than reputable medical professionals. The public deserves better than to flush their hard-earned tax money down the Planned Parenthood rat-hole, especially when that money can be better spent on care that actually helps women in need, instead of hurting them.”

What do you expect from those who only want to kill? If abortionists were real doctors they would want to save lives rather than destroy them. Of course Planned Parenthood won't face legal action, they own too many corrupt government officials.

You can’t get a mammogram at PP, but people line up to have thier children murdered and that’s OK! And we all sing “God Bless America.”

I think it’s tragically clear-the “lady parts” have spoken for this (voted), and this is what they wanted. Shame on folks like Mourdock and Akin, for wanting to stop these situations.

Abortion is cold-blooded murder! But what the hell do Mourdock and Akin have to do with this article? These two idiots “ came to tell us about something about which they knew nothing ( or not enough certainly),” and in so doing, killed their chances for election to the Senate (and with that killed the country’s chances to extricate itself from the jaws of Marxism). I hate these two for what they did. They are both stupid and self-serving. The people of the US deserved a lot better than the likes of them!

Look, both Mourdock and Akin screwed up from a political standpoint, I’m not defending how they handled their respective situations. But both men are seriously pro-life, and their words were twisted by the media. This story isn’t about them, but they’re still on the right side of this issue.

“This story isn’t about them, but they’re still on the right side of this issue.”

But in a very real sense, it is about them. They were both in politics long enough for either of them to have made such a ham handed blunder. They might think it, but they should not have said it. They needed to appeal to a broader spectrum of the electorate, but they chose to make statements that alienated the very voters they needed to win their seats evidently to gain the approval of those who thought that what they said was o.k. It’s unforgivable in my view, and it shows a serious flaw in some of those who claim to be conservatives. Strong conservatism doesn’t demand that you also hold some looney religious views. In the scheme of things, Romney’s Moronism isn’t all that much of a departure from the beliefs of most other “christians,” and yet there was an element in the “christian right” that refused to vote for him because he wasn’t the “right kind” of christian. It just boggles the mind to think that there are people who are willing to take four more years of Obama rather than vote for a decent man because they don’t like the church to which he goes.
