Peter Johnson Jr.: ‘Common Sense’ Should Have Told Susan Rice That.....

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice has come forward this week to defend her actions in the days following the September 11 Benghazi attack. Rice received much criticism for (saying) that the attack was the result of a spontaneous demonstration prompted by an anti-Islam video.

[snip]The strong view of the US, said Rice, is that there is no justifiable excuse for violence and any attacks are reprehensible.

[snip] Wallace countered with the argument of critics who says that our allies in the Middle East no longer trust us and our enemies no longer fear us. Rice repudiated that claim, saying, “When President Obama picked up the phone and spoke to President Morsi, right away things changed, and that’s in evidence of our influence and our impact […] President Morsi issued repeated condemnations of the violent response and called for calm. And we’ve seen the same thing in Yemen, in Libya, in Tunisia and many other parts of the world.”

The Fox News Sunday host interjected, “Then why are we asking all non-[essential] governmental personnel to leave Sudan and Tunisia?”

It appears that more and more appointees are clueless as to the welfare of their country or care about it or know how to protect it....only Obama mattered to Ms. Rice; not the people endangered nor nation's reputation. Not much different than a King or Queen's court.

Maureen Dowd recently wrote that Rice is “a bull in a china shop.” Millbank in the WaPo says she has a nasty-aggressive personality and once gave Richard Holbrook the finger.

And that’s the view from the left!

“The strong view of the US, said Rice, is that there is no justifiable excuse for violence and any attacks are reprehensible.”

If I recall, the discussion was as to who committed the violence, not about whether or not violence and attacks are reprehensible. Rice reflects the dishonesty of this administration and these Clintonesque gobbledygook statements reflect that dishonesty.

The sad part of this is they (Zippy and Rice) don’t realize how stupid they look every time they make up conflicting lies. Now they have Clapper in on it too.

Let’s assume for a moment I buy the line that Clapper removed the snippet that terrorists were responsible before it was given to Rice - - - - - - - - - no one has claimed responsibility for ADDING the part about it being the fault of some random film maker!!!! According to Betrayus it wasn’t in there when it left his hands.

Sooooooo - who added that tidbit???? No matter how you slice it - - - - it comes back to the White Hut!!!!

Now how the hell would Rice refute the claim that our enemies no longer fear us? Maybe a phone poll...

Somehow I doubt Morsi's pleas went out over middle eastern radio frequencies and were only directed to the gullible in the Western Media. But that's just me.

Take the fiter of a normalcy off and view this thru the eyes of a marxist-socialist and anti-colonialist islamist. It’s a common sense move if your underlying agenda is the downfall of American power derived from a Christian inspired constitutional republic.

I disagree. These are smart people. They are not clueless in the tiniest degree. They are acting upon an agenda which is to first destroy, then re-create this country in a manner befitting their collectivist desires.

Never profer incompetence as a proxy for designed insurrection.

Yeah good point. Sue wasn’t the CIA that said it was a video. What blows me away is that obillary made a tv ad for Pakistan apologizing about the video. Incredible.
