treaties cannot rewrite the constitution.

if so it’d be easier to do that than have the states amend it.

anything in a treaty that opposes something in the constitution, is null and void.

They already have and have stood as such for over 70 years.

Yes, that was exactly Hamilton's intent, for which Henry took him to task in the Virginia Ratifying Convention, and for naught. You can read about that here.

We all wish. It just doesn't work that way. Take a harder look at that nasty comma in the supremacy clause.
