A good man with a wonderful family. This country could have done a lot worse. And I think we did.

Thanks Mitt. You tried. It’s just tough when you have to take on the corrupt Chicago mob. Merry Christmas to you an your family.

Not a perfect candidate, but a very good and decent man and one who unquestionably loves his country. He would have been a fine president. I believe Mr. Romney will have his redemption in the future.

Yeah I know he lost (I voted for him) and all but I think he may have won after all

I agree. Damn, Mitt. You're "letting your hair down" now?!

I don't care. God bless him.

America took a national cyanide pill two and a half weeks ago.

Mitt ran a good campaign, and if there were more thinking people in this nation, not wanting an "obamaphone", Mitt would be picking his cabinet and prepping for his inaugural.

And jobs would be picking up, the stock market would be more confident, and our enemies would be nervous.

Now, jobs aren't secure, the stock market is jittery and our enemies are confident.

He’s 500 times the man Obama will ever be. I hope he has a good Christmas. Meanwhile, we have to start planning strategy for 2014.

I voted for him. I have no doubt the country would have done reasonably well with him as president.

He ran a fear-based campaign: Afraid to campaign against the culture of death, the pro-Sharia ideology, the Marxism, and the crimes of the Obama administration. He picked one issue that he thought was safe for him—the wretched economy—and ran away from all other issues. It was a tragic choice for him and for the country. I hope we have another election in 2016.

You notice we never see photos like this of zero and his mooch - because I don’t believe they have a real relationship. I think it’s like Hil and Bill - all for show.

I love this photo, reminds me of the photos we’d see of W and Laura.

What will make me scream is if the Lame Streams now come out and want to have Mitt on their shows and say I knew his guy before he ran and he is really likeable and funny and he is great, just like they did to Bob Dole.

Romney loves this country and would have tried to heal it. Obama hates this country and is trying to kill it.

So yes, this failing country could have done much worse than Romney for president.

Damn all of those fools that failed to vote for “love of country”.

Too many conservatives sat on their hands on Nov 6. Sad. And now we all will pay the costs for generations to come. It’s really a shame that RP didn’t retire after the 08 election. Or at the least he could have and should have endorsed Mitt. It’s all a sad history now.

Attractive couple for sure, and by all indications a fine Morman couple, generous to other Mormans, and who raised a lot of boys. A one term governor in a liberal state, Romney couldn’t sell it to enthuse Republican voters, because it was so similar to Obama’s stunts at the national level that Obama hung it around Romney’s neck.

To fight outright Marxism, we knew didn’t we, in our head and heart, that it would take more than being a Mr. Rogers style candidate? (Except for when running against conservatives.).

I resented that lack of understanding and fight. I voted for Mr. Rogers, the liberal math man/business man, who turned out not to be on top of the campaign math, nor of the candidate business.

I wish the Romneys’ well, but never again will I be so stupid as to vote for anymore effeminate establishment clones, with nothing but cash on their resume.

I really came to have respect for Mitt and to like him during the course of the campaign ... but you know, I saw this photo and thought, “NOW you show this side of yourself? You couldn’t have done this a month ago when it could have done some good? Gaaaah!!”

Let's not forget that we also have them fund raising for Planned parenthood among so many other horrors (homosexual Scout leaders, etc).

Good people are not defined by pleasing physical appearence and nice clothes, and a mild manner.

That is Ann hidden behind the pudgy pro-abortion teammate and Mitt is visible in the middle, if you prefer video of them defending abortion, just ask.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

CBS News, August 27, 2012-Scott Pelly interview:
PELLEY: Well, the platform as written at this convention for the Republicans does not allow for exceptions on abortion with regard to the health of the mother or rape or incest. Is that where you are?

ROMNEY: No. My position has been clear throughout this campaign. I’m in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother.

Interesting that there’s news coverage of how Romney spent his Thanksgiving (CNN) and on another thread, how he went with his family to visit Disneyland (OC Register). I don’t recall such news coverage of any losing candidate, why the interest now if the MSM was vilifying him before? Morbid interest? Or perhaps, a feeling of lingering guilt that they were accomplices in his demise, plus guilt over knowing that the election was won by BO with fraudulent votes and that Romney could very well be President-elect, and therefore worthy of some air time/column inches?
