The liberals, in this Bloomberg, make it impossible to own a weapon in New Your, but yet, there are shootings still happening. How can they explain this? In Oakland, California, the 113th person murdered this year, happened this weekend. There were 9 shootings in three days. Again, blue state making getting a CCW, for a legally qualified person, virtually impossible. Sure, there are shootings everywhere but the number shootings, robberies and rapes. They would dramatically be reduced if the bad guys didn't know if it was safe for them to attack someone or break into a home.

Actually, in California the county in which you reside pretty much accounts for whether or not you can get a CCW. Most of the rural northern counties will issue any good standing person a permit. Problem is, where you really need a gun, the LEO’s won’t give you a permit. I remember a few years ago, the Police Chief in Isleton was giving CCW’s to any state resident who came in. The State didn’t like the fact that he was doing it, so they passed a law limiting his power to issue to those living in his jurisdiction.

Not so true. It depends on what county you are in. After you get a CCW in Cali it is good for all of the state. I have friends who live in Oakland and I am concerned for them.
