Morning!
The doctor say there is no cancer and the prognosis is that it is gone.
The only hang up is he has to meet with his surgeon later this week. That doctor wants to check not on the cancer but on how the healing from the surgery is. That seems kind of strange to us but I guess he is checking for complications or side effects.
In any case it was great news for us for Thanksgiving!
That is fantastic about Mrs p’s brother!! God is good!!! Yes, it does seem strane about the meeting with the surgeon, but maybe it’s just follow up to determine that there are no final issues. Could be a good thing.
My thanksgiving? Don’t ask. Let’s just say I will probably be going to my sister-in-law’s next year, or we will be eating with a different crowd at home. >:-/
LOL! Same here! My son's in-laws are...well...his father in law showed up late VERY drunk...his MIL was nice enough but let the grand kids run wild.
His BIL was fine and I had a good time talking with him until his dad kept barging in.
My youngest son and I headed to the living room to eat because the table was pretty crowded. We ate in peace, mrs p6 had to grin and bear it.
I’m begining to think I dreamt this story...
Has anyone else heard about the Santa hotline where you call and give Santa some info about yourchild. Later zsanta calls back and tells your vhild something like...So...Johnny....I been told youse ain’t been nice this year....in fact youse been naughty....very, very naughty...youse know I don’t go for dat. Unless we works out an agreement youse ain’t gettin nutin for Christmas.....
And on like that. Anyone hear about it?
LOL! No, didn’t hear about that one! LOL! Can you imagine a kid getting a call like that?
First day of hunting season. I already heard gunshots as soon as it got light!
I told Mr S I wanted a .22 Something with minimal kick and not very LOUD! Just for target practice and for home protection.
A .22 for home protection???
LOL! No, a 22 because I don’t want the kick and I can’t stand loud noises. It’s that or nothing. Sorry, it’s the best I can do! I’m hoping that some criminal, faced with a mean-looking-middle-aged-old-biddy-who’s-armed, might want to think twice. Also a mean-looking loud dog to boot! We live in a relatively safe area. And I can work up to something more serious if I get used to the .22
Mr S is not interested in being armed for protection. He just wants to go target shooting and scare away varmints from our garden. Yeah, we’re a couple of wimps! LOL!
