A new CNN poll shows that more Americans would blame Republicans if the country went off the fiscal cliff rather than President Obama.
45 percent of those polled by CNN said they would blame Republicans more; 34 percent said they would blame Obama.
But Republicans might have a political opportunity if they can convince Americans that President Obama is not working to cooperate with Republicans.
According to CNN, nearly half say Obama is not doing enough to cooperate with the Republicans, although seven in ten want him to compromise with the GOP.
Let 'er Rip. I am sick and tired of Congress using these PANIC scenarios to get what they want.

Tell me where can I find this "Great Fiscal Cliff"? Where is it located? Sounds like a FUN place to visit.

Yep. In retrospect, the Romney campaign strategy was abhorrently bad. They played patty cake from July forward. They left so much on the table because they used a very simplistic message and repeated it over and over.
I think most of us felt it at time throughout. If it wasn’t for the 1st debate, we probably all would have been crying foul by mid October.
Our side needs to be naming each and every tax increase over the past four years every time the interview camera is on. There have been massive increases already, especially on the
rich’. Yet here we are with trillion plus dollar deficit. Tax increases solve nothing, other than sucking money out of the economy, slowing growth and causing money and jobs to find their ways overseas. Yet, our side is sitting here on the defensive and diddling around the edges.
Personally, I don’t give a rat’s a$$ about this fiscal cliff because nothing that comes from it will be much of an improvement, other than kicking our problems out a few months or a couple years. Our people and our government is not remotely serious about fixing the problems Washington has created.

I'll refresh your memory: you were babbling away about how the rapidly rising stock market in the fall of 2010 was "almost like an October surprise" for the Democrats that would cost the Tea Party big time. You can try your revisionist history but I still remember your argument because it was so laughably bad...
I have no idea of the context or the point I was making in some random post from 2010. My track record of predictions is generally quite good because they are grounded in reality rather than wishful thinking.
The idea that we could "unskew" polls was just stupid. That ridiculous unskewedpolls website deserves to be laughed at. That so many conservatives bought into this nonsense was troubling. Calling out stuff like this so it doesn't happen again is a valuable exercise.

I never posted anything from that site, or even mentioned that site- so why do you keep leveling this accusation at me? (Btw, the fact of the matter is that there was a rash of bad polling this year from many, many outfits- don't take my word for it- Obama's own internal pollsters admitted it). But all Conservatives are the same, blah, blah, and they're extremists, and removed from reality, etc., and they deserve to be despised, don't they Longbow1969?...

I was responding only because you were misinterpreting my original comment. Reading comprehension, man.
Listen sport, I responded to the original post with a joke about "unskewing" polls. It was a generic response. To which you attacked me personally by calling me a crypto-socialist and then a fraud. I did not attack you. Actually, I've been here a lot longer than you and I don't recall seeing your name or any of your posts. And you aren't getting anywhere acting like a jerk and attacking people personally because you don't agree with them.

$10 excise tax on movie tickets. $15 excise tax on DVDs. $2/track excise tax on music downloads. 20% gross revenue tax on movies. 15% excise on cable TV.
Michael Moore thinks your tax ideas stink.
When you attack other people and hurl insults you are usually going to get called out on it. Dial back the venom and you might find that people will be better able to tolerate you.
