Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has had quite a week. He helped broker a cease-fire between his Hamas ally and Israel to the acclaim of the international community as well as the United States and his new friend President Obama. He followed that triumph up by issuing new decrees that effectively give him dictatorial powers over Egypt. In less than year in office, Morsi has amassed as much power as Hosni Mubarak had in his time in office as the country’s strongman and he has done it while getting closer to the United States rather than having his Islamist regime being condemned or isolated by Washington.
The full implications of Morsi’s ascendency are not yet apparent. But we can draw a few rather obvious conclusions from these events. The first is this makes the region a much more dangerous place and peace even more unlikely. the second is that the much ballyhooed Arab Spring turned out to be an Islamist triumph, not an opening for democracy. And third, and perhaps most disconcerting for Americans, it looks like the Obama administration has shown itself again to be a band of hopeless amateurs when it comes to the Middle East.

A president who says he wants peace and democracy in the Middle East is now acting as if the Islamists that run Turkey and Egypt are his new best friends while continuing to treat the head of the only democracy in the region as a nuisance.

Obama is a Muslim Communist who approves of what the Egyptian Muslim president is doing and Obama will do it also.
The only difference is that the media will not report it when Obama assumes total power. If the media doesn't report it then it didn't happen

Bingo! Obama and his agents are not hopeless amateurs. This is all playing out as some have forecasted and Obama will be remembered as the prime mover in the creation of the Greater Caliphate. Obama will be remembered in the Ummah as one of the greatest Imams worthy of reverence equal to Khomeini.
Every single “Arab Spring” country has either turned Islamist or degenerated into an Islamist-caused chaos and will be Islamist soon.
What more do we need to know about Barry’s objective?

.........Quite a bit of me thinks Obama is doing EXACTLY what he wants to do.
Tunisia was a nice place until OBama praised himself promoting there the arab spring. It was completely unwarranted.
OBama is a government boy. Just like all those hypocritical OWS kids crapping on cops car who would love to become lawyers and cops promoting their evil ways of the “open society” corruption behind the backs of taxpayers.
He is incompetent and will not only promote but say thank you to a dictator telling him what to do. He is a feminist: all chest thumping thug like in public, all begging for a buck or help in reality when incapable of doing the job. It’s a welfare crank house of pretend and potemkin positions.
It will all end in blood. And probably not even then. But there will be blood.
