A painting that features President Obama posed as Jesus Christ crucified on a cross is on display at a community college art gallery in Boston.
The painting by Michael DAntuono is part of a larger exhibit called Artists on the Stump the Road to the White House 2012. Its on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery until Dec. 15th.
The painting is called Truth and shows the president on the cross with his arms outstretched. A crown of thorns rests on his head.
It was originally supposed to debut nearly four years ago at New York Citys Union Square. But that event was cancelled due to public outrage.
I always regretted cancelling my exhibit in New York because I feel my First Amendment rights should override someones hurt feelings, DAntuono told Fox News. We should celebrate the fact that we live in a country where we are given the freedom to express ourselves.
A spokesperson for the art gallery told Fox News there hasnt been any criticism of the painting.

Let’s see...Christ died to save all of us, something I just can’t see the President doing.
Put that one in a jar of urine and call it “Piss Obama” and I’m all for it.
It’s so striking! They say Bronco Bama is so much like Lincoln. Wha’ happen him, eh? They say Bronco Bama is a saviour. In history, every time some human puts another human into the ‘saviour’ category, there is a Brutus in the crowd.
Except for the repercussions, (which might thin out the herd a little, anyway), I’m waiting for this current carnal narcissist to meet his Brutus.
They are obviously misinterpreting the painting. Properly interpreted, you see Obastard as the crucified Dumachus (aka Dismas, Dysmas, Dimas, Demas, Zoatham and Rach).
Whoops, got my thieves mixed up. I meant Gestas (aka Dumachus).
And the artist is a total moron
