I’m through with the GOP. My entire family is changing affiliation to Independent. I predict it will be Jeb Bush/Chris Christie for their 2016 ticket to nowhere.
I think you’re half-right for 2016. I see Bush/Rubio as the ticket, provided the GOP powers-that-be get their way. I further predict that the GOP powers-that-be will tell the social conservatives to go pound sand; that they’re no longer welcome in the party. Not officially, mind you, but in the best politese they can muster.
Are you saying the GOP has tried to intimidate you into supporting someone you don’t want to support? This GOPe has been greatly overblown and people on FR forget no one has ever tried to intimidate anyone here on FR. If you’ve been contacted by the GOPe, and been threatened, tell the rest of us about it.
