BUDAPEST, Hungary -- A Hungarian far-right politician urged the government to draw up a list of Jews who pose a "national security risk", stirring outrage among Jewish leaders who saw echoes of fascist policies that led to the Holocaust. Marton Gyongyosi, a leader of Hungary´s third-strongest political party Jobbik, said the list was necessary because of heightened tensions following the brief conflict in Gaza and should include members of parliament.

I have noticed increasing antisemitism among those with national socialist and soviet socialist tendencies, both in Europe and in the United States. This is one more example of deja vu - the next decade or two will not be pretty. I just pray that today’s Jews will not quietly comply with government orders for relocation.

Holy effin crap! Is this for real? I feel like I just took a trip back 75 years or so.

Also, I’ve never understood the hatred of the Jews. Is there a specific root cause? I tried looking it up once and basically got some theories but nothing concrete. WTH is wrong with people? We ‘tolerate’ the filthy scumbag mooselimbs, but not the Jews, who are actually productive citizens all over the world? It’s insane.

I don’t know much about Hungary’s political climate these days, but this guy’s efforts regarding ‘the Jews’ is seriously flawed. He should be recognized for the slime he is at all levels in Hungary.

Not insane.
Looked at in a certain way, Jews represent a threat to a lot of people. This is the result of their success, not in spite of it. There is no question that Jews are successful and tend to disproportionately hold important positions in the arts, professions and business. This leads to the perception or fear that one will be ruled over by people who are alien to ones community and are not making decisions in their interest.
Some of this is visible in the US too, on both sides of politics. We on the right despise the MSM and Academia, rightly. But much of the MSM and Academia is Jewish. The left hates Wall Street. But much of Wall Street is Jewish. Add some generic European paranoia and mistrust and this can turn into real anti-Semitism that can find a home in both ends of politics.

Perhaps I’m just a bit dim, but to me the differences between the “right wing” national socialists and the “left wing” soviet socialists seem very small. The difference between the soviets and today’s democrats seem very small. The differences between conservatives and both socialist wings seem huge. I’ll stay where I am on the political spectrum and pray that we don’t drift any further in the direction that Obama is pushing.

The root cause is the same as the cause of Obama's attacks on "millionaires". Demagogues need a scapegoat, one that is numerous enough to draw some attention (like the Jews in Hungary and millionaires here) but small enough to be overwhelmed by the rabble. The root cause is evil, those who want power so much they are willing to abuse the innocent as a steppingstone to greater control over everyone.

    a. 'Right Wing' National Socialists aren't really 'Right Wing' at all - There is no such thing as a Right Wing National Socialist - Socialism is Leftist
    b. They are Left wing National Socialists
    c. They are not as far left as groups 2, 3, & 4 here - They are headed in the same direction - Their goals will radicalize as those who have preceeded them, until they each wind up in the same place
    d. The only reason they look any better than groups 2, 3, & 4, is because there is still some contrast between them
    e. If groups 2, 3, & 4 didn't exist, Group 1 would be seen exactly for what it is - A far Left group chasing after their heros who hate our Founding Fathers and Founding Documents
    f. Pretend groups 2, 3, & 4 don't exist - There it is..., Group 1 in it's true gradure, an embarrassment to and enemy of loyalists

2. Left Wing Soviet Socialists
3. Soviets
4. Today's Democrats

    a. I don't see much difference between groups 2, 3, & 4 here  (and for that matter, Group 1 is only just a little bit behind)
    b. Socialism always winds up at the same point, in time
    c. Look at it in the United States
    d. At each step along the way, the goals the Socialists in the United States seek to attain, become more radical - As they attain goals, they make up new farther Left ones and seek to attain them

5. Conservatives

    a. Our only hope
    b. Modeled after our Founding Fathers
    c. Adoptive of our Founding Documents
    d. Not really a Right Wing group at all.
    e. Conservatives are Centrists

We play these stupid games with the Left trying to make us look like some 'flavor of the month' boogie man, but when it comes down to it, Conservative's goals are pretty simple

1. Citizen rule, lots of power, strongly defined rights
2. Small Federal Government, very limited powers, strongly defined limits
3. Federal Government's duties strongly defined

The Federal Government is supposed to stay our of our lives, and out of our way

Today's Federal Government has adopted the policy that we must stay our of it's business, and out of it's way

Our founding goals have been flipped

It's time to educate the public, and take about 90% of this government's current self-professed power away

We have allowed the Left to define us.
We have allowed the Left to alter this nation in just about every way possible
