“Why anyone would live or even go visit ny is beyond me.”
Get a good ways out of NYC (it’s a big state), and there’s some remarkably beautiful country (few places I’ve been to as beautiful as Columbia county) and quite conservative folks (who have as little use for the “city-ots” as you do.
BTW, I don’t live in NY state, but when I go out on the Harley for a ride, upstate is where I head. Spent years of my working career in a freight yard in the worst section of the South Bronx, and much more going in and out of Manhattan each day. And I don’t have any desire to go back to the city, either.
On the other hand, I lived in Florida as a youth, and can’t see any reason why I’d want to go back. Flat, hot, awful!
Unfortunately, the Supreme Court as it might exist two years from now might NOT strike it down.
I disagree. The MSM, by actively protecting candidate and president Obama, from all criticism and negative stories about him, effectively foisted him on us.
The MSM is the active agent in this travesty.
Whatever role the biased MSM has played in the re-election of Obama does not excuse the the ignorance and naivete of the American voter.
The simple fact is that the recipients of government largesse outnumber and outbreed the producers. This process will have an upward trend from now on, so draw your own conclusions.
To paraphrase Reagan — you ain’t seen nothing yet.
"Excuse" has nothing to do with it. It is what it is. I am saying the election was lost because the electorate was deliberately misled and lied to. That requires a considerably different response than if the electorate made decisions base on fact.
One requires that we find ways to get the truth to the electorate. The other implies that we can do nothing.
