Someone has a spine.
Exactly. I don’t see eye to eye with Rand on everything, but he tops my list. He not only has a spine, but a set of proven principles and a set of cajones to go with it.
Finally someone who sees the problem and isn’t afraid to articulate the way forward. Raising taxes on anyone is counterproductive and will in long run decrease federal income as more and more layoffs lead to less wage earners and taxpayors. What happenned to the party of Kennedy who understood that lowering tax rates increases income and opens opportunities for employment.
Unfortunately there will not be enough congressmen and senators with the fortitude of Dr. Rand!
Do we have anyone that represents conservatives in Congress?
Yes he does and more than that.. true conviction in what he believes and devotion to the constituents he represents.
I don’t know what my opinion of Rand Paul will come to be over time, but he was running against Trey Grayson, and when Palin endorsed Paul, I looked at Grayson, and Paul seemed to be a creative, engaged type that would shake things up whereas Grayson was just the typical rino type.
“”Grayson garnered endorsements from Senator Mitch McConnell, former Vice President Dick Cheney, former presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, Senator Rick Santorum.””
Rand was the tea party guy, “”Paul has secured endorsements from several public figures and political organizations. They include the Downsize DC Foundation, Concerned Women for America, Gun Owners of America, Steve Forbes, FreedomWorks, Club for Growth, James Dobson, Sarah Palin, Jim DeMint, Cathy Bailey, Jim Bunning, Erick Erickson, National Federation of Independent Business, Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, National Right to Life, US Chamber of Commerce, National Vietnam and Gulf War Veterans Coalition, Mike Huckabee, and Tony Perkins/FRC Action PAC.””
Bachmann?
hear hear !
Rand has the right trajectory.
Small govt. Lawful immigration
Fiscal sanity and common sense. A refreshing quality in a politician. Good for him. I admired that aspect of his father, too.
Yes.
The media is just destroying us
Future 2016 GOP presidential nominee???
I believe I read or hear someplace that he said he would be interested in running in 2016. So, we’ll see what happens.
I wonder when the RINOs will start saying that letting sequestration happen will be like breaking their promise because taxes will go up. I’m sure a few of them will use that twisted logic as they cave (is it really caving when you secretly agree?) to the Dims and their godly Evil Won.
Don’t sweat it Rand, it’s already been broken for you. Come the end of the year, the tax cuts expire.
Add to that he is articulate, informed and doesn’t back down from his view. He doesn’t get tongue tied in interviews, worrying about reporters tripping him up.
well. Three. There is Rand and Ron Paul
