NASHUA — Following a storm of controversy in light of her criminal background, the first openly transgendered person elected to the New Hampshire House will resign her post. “I didn't want to have to do this,” Rep.-elect Stacie Marie Laughton, D-Nashua, said. “There's been a lot of people that have said, 'Stay strong, keep your head up, stay in it.'” “I'm super disappointed because I was looking forward to this more than anything. It's my lifelong dream to serve my community, and what better place to do it than the city that I was born and raised in.”

It has been posted elsewhere that the problem isn't Barack Obama; it is the people that VOTED for him. Here's a perfect example...the problem isn't Stacie; it is the RH voters that elected 'her'.

Nashua is a city. Far from “typical” New Hampshire. Right on the Massachusetts line. This is one of 400 reps. I am also one of the 400 reps. Please don’t tar the whole state over this one weirdo in this one weird election. In 2010, we elected almost 300 Republicans out of the 400 Reps and 19 of 24 senators. Were we also stupid and perverted then?

Hah. Dis agree. I left NH for NZ after the 2008 coup. NH is a far gone, rotted to the core and that is coming from a NH native that has property still here in the family with deeds that go back prior to the USA of exsisting!
NH First in the Nation Primary is nothing more than a control mechanism for the the party hacks/azzhats like Sununu to make winners or losers of there chioce kill the conservative candidate and promote the RINO...nothing else. I say give the first in the Nation Status to Wyoming, or Mexico or Ottowa Canada they would do a better job in my former NH resident opinion
