I guess you’re part of the “Evil Rich” and didn’t know it. I suppose I am, too.
We’re screwed.
Uh-oh. Using the calculator, it says I would pay $1200 less under the Obama plan than I would under the Republican plan.
Yes, the Democrat plan to raise taxes on the rich to keep from going over the Fiscal Cliff, comes from the same ones that said the Stimulus bill would keep unemployment under 8%. There’s no evidence the Democrat economic plans ever work, but they sure sell the public on that.
I will be paying $2800 less with Obama plan.
We will pay $7,000 more under 0bama plan. $18,000 more if we go over the fiscal cliff.
Or so I've been told...
Wow, I made the mistake of reading some of the comments following the NYT article about generators. There really is a level of lunacy in the NYT following....
One guy named Carl even said, “I recall that when Obama was first elected he was talking about needed infrastructure work, but the party of no was to busy trying to make sure he didn’t get re-elected.”
Jeesh, early on he had the Pelosi House, the Reid Senate and did get the Stimulus, so they added $900B to the baseline budget and have spent that every year since.
That's the leftist opiate on the middle class to ease tthe pain from higher cost of living caused by taxing those rich entreprenual makers and providers of stuff we consume.
Don’t be depressed, be prepared! Most of the dupes are going to be about a year behind us in figuring this out, but Starve the Beast 2.0 is coming down the pike like Luke Skywalker taking out the Deathstar, inflation or insufficient funds.
Did you take a shower after? Infrastructure improvements should have started November 10th 1965 The day after the Northeast Blackout!
I saw an excerpt of an interview with Warren Buffet in which he says that raising taxes on the “rich” will boost the morale of the middle class.
I always said that raising taxes on the rich will do nothing but make the middle class “feel better.”
It’s the usual class warfare tactic in play on people’s base urge of immediate self preservation vs. the more intellectually challenging exercise of reason to grasp the concept of prosperity gained through personal risk and hard work as an owner and entrepreneur. It’s easier to accept the illusion of safety as a wage earner and see the “rich” businesss owners as not playing fair.
The real reason Obama is pushing “education” is because it largely staffed by libs. How else are union teachers and liberal college professors and adminstrators going to continue to be employed?
The only issue I have with Rush’s premise today (”this is what the voters want”) - is: Are today’s voters even well enough informed to know what they voted for?
What I mean is, the pop culture and MSM have done nothing more than portray Obama as the best thing to ever happen to the USA, and constantly massage the residual white guilt by reminding that population that they finally did something right by voting for a black man.
Oh the other hand, Rush is saying “you cannot pay off trillions in debt with billions in tax increases” — but do those same people even know what a trillion is? I’ll bet that not 1 in 100 has actually done the math, or read contrary opinions to what they hear on Jon Stewart or CNN. I’m not talking about the “extreme left” MSNBC crowd, just the average apolitical citizen who starts paying attention to politics a week before the election.
It’s certain that few families are talking about this stuff over the dinner table, or even learning it in union-taught public schools. I just wonder if people intentionally voted for a guy while holding contrary views themselves, or if they were just too poorly informed to know the difference.
If the latter, then people like Rush could start to make a difference.
Where do we go to get our ObamaGenerators? Maybe we can search on our ObamaSmartPhones.
If its not “fair” that rich people can have generators...how is it fair then that some people had big SUVs to safely drive away from storm debris. And how is it fair that some people are rich enough to hire contractors to clean up their properties, and other storm victims have to clean their own properties? Hmmm? Where does it stop. It never does...
Hi RWI! What a quandary our CCAC (now permanently adjunct) professors find themselves in. They MUST support Dear Leader...yet they ALL lose $$$ in reality of Obot policies...yet they dare not utter even the slightest complaint. Perfect liberal Catch 22.
