Boehner needs to come to the American people to explain this over and over versus sending out these kinds of statements of what he was supposed to have said. I pray they don’t cave so the wealth redistribution along with more spending aren’t implemented into the government. Once they add a new tax hike, they want to use those same tax rates to use as their spending spree. I think this is all a lie. Obama said before elected, he would continue the Bush tax cuts. It’s on video. if I were up there, I would be using that microphone to explain even with charts and graphs. We have to begin educating the public vs allowing the soundbites to describe the message. They need to fight back.

The fact that Boehner is still calling this a “tax cut” instead of an intended Dem “tax increase” shows just how inept the GOP really is. Americans may not vote for a tax cut, but they will rarely vote for a tax increase. Romney failed to get that message across during the election and Boehner is ensuring that the Republicans will be once again on the wrong side of the debate.
