My father commented on the difference between the number of midgets/dwarfs you would see when he was younger to their near-total absence today; same idea.

Midgets are gone entirely except for some middle aged ones.

That is because they can fix the problem. One of my childhood friends was a midget. He was almost too old for the therapy so it only help him grow about 10 inches.

Not quite normal size but much taller then he was.
