Brisk Black Friday gun sales added to the record-setting gun-buying year coming to a close in Wisconsin.
While gun purchases set a record nationally on Black Friday, Wisconsin's peak gun-buying frenzy stretched for months following the adoption of the states concealed carry law, which went into effect on Nov. 1 last year.
The states handgun hot line, which gun dealers call to get background checks to see if prospective handgun buyers are barred from owning guns because of felony status or mental health reasons, is having a record-shattering year.
As of Tuesday, the hot line had received 117,379 request

Must be another reason for the increse in entrepanurers. Lots of new gun shops starting up, creating those new jobs Obama is always talking about. Ammunition sales going up, more new companies and more new jobs. Gotta love it.

2nd Amendment is now the biggest difference between the U.S. and Formerly Great Britain. Obama will try to do away with it soon.
Good news for every Wisconsin citizen who enjoys freedom, outdoor recreation, collecting fine arms and the other benefits the Second Amendment guarantees us. Never let enemies of freedom restrict our rights.
I enjoy skeet, sporting clays, trap, target shooting, reloading and our right to self defense. It’s never been better for my interests than how it is here in Wisconsin now. May it never change. NRA long time member.
