Give Obama what he wants: Implosion is exactly what America needs in order to find its fiscal way

The best thing the Republicans could do right now is to give Obama everything that he wants. Those of us who think, rather than feel, understand that Obama’s course will end up with the United States going bankrupt, because there isn’t enough money on the planet, much less the US, to pay for all the goodies the Democrats want to bestow on their favored constituents.

Just to give you an example of how hopeless the situation is, the combined net worth of the Forbes list of America’s 400 wealthiest people is just over $1.7 trillion. So if you confiscate 100% of that wealth you would just have enough money to cover this year’s federal budget deficit and next year you would have to confiscate the combined wealth of tens of thousands more Americans to cover next year’s deficit.

Clearly, raising taxes on “The Rich” will not even come close to achieving its stated purpose, namely reducing the deficit.

And while Republican politicians are posturing liked testosterone crazed Sumo Wrestlers about making sure entitlements are reduced if they agree to tax increases, the truth is that Republicans, who are currently consumed with self-loathing, will cave on tax increases without spending cuts.

Best thing they could do is to just rubber stamp everything that Obama and the Dems are demanding because the sooner all their ambitious demands are met; the sooner the country will implode.

And implosion is exactly what America needs in order to find its fiscal way. Drug addicts, alcoholics, recovery, hitting rock-bottom

For drug addicts or alcoholics to have even the slightest chance at recovery, what’s needed is to hit rock-bottom, to experience that searing realization that the wall of oblivion is about to collide full force with their nose, to totally scrape bottom and realize that’s death staring

This country needs a revolt on corruption and waste. We need sources of supplies that are not over regulated by government and manipulated by the super rich globalists.

I say Let the Democrats have what they want.

Republicans should announce that they will NOT oppose a tax increase.

But they should name the bill something like "ObamaCURE - a bill to solve all the country's problems."

But when the vote comes up, every Republican should vote PRESENT.

As soon as the Democrats realize that the upcoming fiscal collapse will be blamed entirely on them, they will quickly change their votes and the thing will be defeated.

“I say Let the Democrats have what they want.”

Y E S!

And, they must be very public and emphatic about it...so NO ONE not even the corrupt and biased MSM can misconstrue the Conservative position and blame them later.

The sooner the result of “O’s” ineptitude and greed are felt ... and the more people who experience it, THE BETTER!

Although I completely disagree with Obama,

maybe it’s time to just give Obama what he wants.

After that the GOP needs to come out strong and say:

“We didn’t want taxes to go up on the middle claims so We gave him what he wants. THE ECONOMY IS HIS. THIS IS OBAMA’s ECONOMY. HE OWNS IT.”

A dose of reality - Many addicts do not recover, but end up hurting those that are helping them and then they die. This is a dangerous proposal at best, although I don’t think anyone in the government can stop what is going to happen.

Recovering addicts usually come to the conclusion that their is a god (greater power, supreme ruler, etc.) I always have faith that anyone can be saved, but how did that work out for the soviet union, cuba, etc.

And if we give into what they want, even though we may bring this country to its knees, we are agreeing to all the filth and depravity that goes with it. And then we will be governed by that which WE allowed and try to blame them, when we have what we have right now because we allowed it.

Seems like the GOPe has been exercising this for the last 25 years. How’s that working for us right now.

It is time for the GOP to compete with Obama in delivering jobs to the American people.

Stop exporting jobs.

Stop sending productive US assets to foreign countries, among them countries potentially very very aggressive toward America.

For crying out loud. When did our party become about foreign companies??

Stop importing so much. Start producing things in America now.

Whoever Canada Free Press is is guilty of plagiarism. I wrote many of those same exact words, including the drug and alcoholic references word for word here on FR and my blog.

If you’re going to use others words, cite them and attribute credit. Otherwise it’s theft.

I agree. It would be devastating to our economy. We are losing the argument anyway with the majority now being moochers so let’s lay it at the Commurats feet. Give them everything they want. When it’s time to vote then vote “present”.

Have you tried to produce and sell anything in the US? Do you buy products from US companies even when the cost is twice as much? If people were to try to buy and produce exclusively in the US, our standard of living would plummet. The US is so anti-manufacturing it is not even funny. High regulation, high employee costs and high taxes make producing goods in the US not cost effective. Unless you change the environment first, moving production to the US we just result in bankruptcy. It would be like throwing fish into boiling water and wondering why they died. The conditions must be right for fish and manufacturing to survive.

Yes there are obstacles to US production.

Perhaps the discussion might usefully center on how those obstacles can be removed.

And likewise obstacles introduced to importing from countries in which our productive assets have been moved, to bring them back here.

What we are doing now, is losing steadily.

That is what I am saying.

Yes, the essence of self-defense is letting the attacker's momentum get beyond his center. Let him have everything he wants and more, then help him fall on his face.

Give Obama what he wants? And you think we still won't get blamed for the results?

What he wants is dictatorial power, his own SS goon army, and the freedom to take our freedoms away. The current threat is that he'll do by executive order that which we don't give him the right to do.

The only hope that will come out of the Republicans rolling over yet again is that something better will come up after the Republican party is dead and gone.

That discussion was had this last election and the conservative argument lost with the uneducated. What now needs to be done, is accelerate the effects of the choice that the people made. This is the only way some people will learn. They are unable to reason and can only learn the hard way.

As far as putting up obstacles to importing, that is a leftist idea. We do not need government to act in the private sector at all. Americans are some of the most productive in the world when left to compete freely. Asking the government to act to level a playing field that they are making unlevel is not logical.

Well I am an American first, a conservative second.

All my values hinge on building America stronger first of all. To the extent that is possible while also building business that is also great.

But America first and always.

Perhaps it’s just me, deciding things that way.

So be it.

The Republicans should stop playing the Democrat's game. Their plan will not work and will destroy our country. We should stand fast on the following:
Cut income tax to 15%
Abolish Corporate income taxes
Abolish capital gains taxes, (they are mostly inflation gains anyway.)
Regulations should be returned to those existing in 1980
Levy an equalization tax on imports to offset the market costs placed by our gov.

There have been a lot of articles and discussion about the folly of "taxing the rich" since AFTER the election. Where the hell were all these analysts BEFORE the election? Have they just been enlightened regarding this issue or were they too afraid to publish this material. The whole idea of "tax the rich" is simply a class-warfare gimmick that will do nothing to reduce the deficit or the debt. It is meant to punish achievers and to redistribute the wealth created by them. So now I see we are already being introduced to a new "wealth tax" since the income tax will not be sufficient by itself. Get prepared - it's coming.

Normally I don't like to discuss problems without offering a reasoned solution. But in this case I have none. Can anyone help me out here???

I’d be for all of those things.

Provided American companies kept US jobs here. And brought back those they exported.

Let’s not ignore that part.

That’s the thing. Either we are for Americans, or we are not.

Obama has been destroying our economy for four years now. Yet he does not get blamed, because at the same time US businesses have also been eliminating US jobs as quickly as they can fire them.

Heck even I am almost tempted to take Obama’s side when I see so many US workers being thrown out of work.

BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS.

Now.

Nope, still Bush's fault. Many of 0bama's sycophants came out multiple times before the election stating that it was Obama's economy. Goolsby, and Washer Women Shultz to name two.
