With all due respect to the Bible, not everyone accepts the Bible as the Word of God as you and I do. But everyone is morally obliged to accept the findings of reason when applied to the question of moral right and wrong.

So in matters of public policy it is often an advantage to call attention to the scientific evidence for the humanity of the begotten child at every stage, and the reasonable inference that "equal justice under law" would entail the protection of this child --- like any child --- from fatal abuse or neglect.

Natural Law is for everyone who is capable of rational thought.

Though some people don't think, or don't think very well. Yet it's worth the effort to challenge them, I would say.

The reasoning for the challenge would ultimately come from God, so the Bible IS the book of the law of life.

I agree with you, but whether one accepts the scriptures or not will not change the fact that we know reasoning by the God we learn of in the scriptures.

I was saved without knowing Him, but I learn of Him through His Word.

My point was not to argue or discuss the scriptures but to state that evil is everywhere and answering the question is simple ... men are Hell bound evil doers without Christ and Heaven bound forgiven evil doers WITH Christ.
