Boy, we’re a quiet group this morning! I’ve been running around doing other stuff. We’re ahead on the Christmas shopping. Son getting ready to graduate from IUP in two weeks. Christmas concerts and parties. Christmas cookie baking already starting. I hope next year is quieter - no weddings, graduations, etc. I need a break! lol!

The point Rose was making (about the stupid, non Presidential questions “like how old is the erf?” Or “do you believe in birf control”) are answered, IMO, because ALL of these pampered pols are so damn narcissistic that they really believe whatever the utter will be that profound. So instead of being a self depreciating, smart ass...(”what, is this a geology quiz?”) they THINK their thoughts are actually considered appropriate.
And...it kinda bugs me as an odd analogy...but the hairstylist a couple times a week (which I know is important to someone, like Rose, in the public eye) just comes across as a little too TMI. Alot of real salons (small businesses—those ones that are lucky if they do 6 figures let alone the 250k) are failing. All service barber shops and places like Cost Cutters are booming because of their $5 or $7 haircut only fees; people don’t have the $ to go to “Your Home Town Salon” for the $15 to $20 wash, cut, style...and sales pitch on the “salon grade” shampoos, conditioners, etc.
