Living next door to Maricopa County, I pay quiet a bit of attention to Sheriff Joe and the press he generates.
I think this article is a fair and balanced as the Sheriff is going to get. The press here hate him. SOME of the Latino population hate him.

I suggest everybody read the comments, it seems the author, retired Mesa master police officer Bill Richardson, opposed Sheriff Joe in an election and lost, while working for the press and concealing considerable corruption and criminal behavior by police in several departments, including his own. However there was no such corruption in Joe's department, or Sheriff Paul Babeu’s department.

I am not so concerned with Liberals trying to rid M.C. of Sherrif Arpaio....I am getting more concerned with those on the GOP side who are trying to sand-bag him

We already saw the former AZ House Speaker get ousted in 2010 by a pro-Amnesty GOP....And earlier this year we had Michelle Malkin refer to Arpaio and supporters as “9/11 Truthers” when Arpaio’s “Posse” pretty much proved that Obama’s Birth Certificate released in 2011 was a forgery

I am really concerned, with the Liberal RINO wing of the GOP pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty and “Hispanic Voters”...that they will try stuff to rid M.C. of Arpaio.

Both current AZ Senators are again pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty...and I do not trust the GOPe or the GOP Media anywhere near the issue of Border Security/National Security...and what they will do to those who are strong on those issues
