Hayek dedicated the The Road Serfdom to"the socialist in all parties"

Pretty much says it all.

Oh, Krauthammer became more open and complementary towards the tea party movement... eventually. But not at first. He grimaced at both it and the earlier town hall protests, stating (on Bret Baier’s show) how terrible and unseemly they were, and that they would backfire and harm the Republicans in the eventual 2010 midterms. That’s what I mean about his blind-spot, when it comes to outside-the-beltway, grassroots conservatism.

That shouldn’t be seen as hostility from me. He’s interesting and informative on a number of issues. I generally like to hear his input. Well maybe the Palin “death panels” incident, when he said she should “leave the room,” he did come across in a sort of cluelessly jerky way. Especially when he just wound up repeating the same exact things from the Facebook page! Seemed quite obnoxiously elitist. That came across pretty bad. He certainly lost some points with me there. Can’t deny that.

What you said. They’re both privileged Partsan Review babies and I wish they’d both retire and shut up.

I have thought about it.

And my take is as I stated. The majority of Jews in the US don’t like Christians, they don’t like conservatives, they don’t like the US military, they don’t serve in the US military and the vast majority of US Jews vote for a political party that wants to defang Israel.

So... why should we put up with the political abuse that comes with supporting Israel? If the Arabs want to kill the Jews, hey, it’s a Jewish problem. Not mine. If American Jews decide to get their heads out of their posteriors on the issue and ask for help, well then we might talk again.

But I’ve long since reached the limits of my patience with the abuse heaped on conservatives by American Jews for their support of Israel.

One more time: If the Arabs want to kill the Jews... it’s a Jewish problem.

There's no doubt Krauthammer is a Beltway elitist. But on the Tea Party he proved more open-minded and open to persuasion than most of the GOP, which never stops trying to marginalize grass-roots conservatives. And he does a much better job of making the case for limited government and making the case against Obama than most of the GOP.

* Hopefully none of my former classmates will see this and call be disloyal for not supporting the one who west to my school eyars before. Screw taht. I knew Ben Rhodes in high school and thought him arrogant then and worse today. Always sucking up to asinine liberalism, and never once thinking for himself.

It’s on the same clip.

He said Boehner offered ubama a compromise and ubama told him to hand over his sword, his shirt and ultimately his trousers and that is a humiliating position for Boehner to be in.

Boehner is such a loser

When did that happen? The only time I saw him commenting on it extensively he was saying it made no logical sense and that it even contradicted itself in places.

I’m with you: completely skeptical about religion in all forms, but the money we spend on Israel is a pittance compared to what we’ve squandered on the Europeans, and when it comes down to nut cutting time the Europeans outside of the UK will run screaming like a bunch of little girls, while the the Israelis will be all-in.

Seems very appropriate!

Methinks Dinesh won that one. LOL!

I think some Obama voters wanted to be Obama voters, but may not have actually wanted another four years of him as president.

Charles Krauthammer Comments In Detail On ObamaCare Ruling.

” Brilliant Tactical Maneuver By Roberts”

Mon, 07.02.12 6:19pm EST

BY: Charles Krauthammer

To all my friends, particularly those conservatives who are despondent over the searing betrayal by Chief Justice John Roberts and the pending demise of our beloved country, I offer this perspective to convey some profound hope and evidence of the Almighty’s hand in the affairs of men in relation to the Supreme Court’s decision on Obamacare.

I initially thought we had cause for despondency when I only heard the results of the decision and not the reason or the make-up of the sides. I have now read a large portion of the decision and I believe that it was precisely the result that Scalia, Alito, Thomas, Roberts and even Kennedy wanted and not a defeat for conservatism or the rule of law. I believe the conservatives on the court have run circles around the liberals and demonstrated that the libs are patently unqualified to be on the Supreme Court.

Let me explain.

First let me assure you that John Roberts is a conservative and he is not dumb, mentally unstable, diabolical, a turncoat, a Souter or even just trying to be too nice. He is a genius along with the members of the Court in the dissent. The more of the decision I read the more remarkable it became. It is not obvious and it requires a passable understanding of Constitutional law but if it is explained anyone can see the beauty of it. The decision was going to be a 5-4 decision no matter what, so the allegation that the decision was a partisan political decision was going to be made by the losing side and their supporters. If the bill was struck down completely with Roberts on the other side there would have been a national and media backlash against conservatives and probably strong motivation for Obama supporters to come out and vote in November. With today’s decision that dynamic is reversed and there is a groundswell of support for Romney and Republicans, even for people who were formerly lukewarm toward Romney before today, additionally Romney raised more than 3 million dollars today.

God has promised that if we turn our faces from Israel, he will withdraw grace from us. In this life. Conservative Christians have been the recipient of deep contempt from liberal Jews my whole life. Abandoning Israel will just hurt us. Once the Muslims kill off the Jews, if they CAN!, they'll just turn their madness ever stronger on us.

The Arab problem is inbreeding. Google "Islam first cousin marriage" for a real shocker--

Same here. I used to watch Fox so often that their logo was "burned" into the lower left of our TV screen.

I'm hoping Blaze gets more conservative shows like GB and Wilkow. Wilkow has had great guests on. I DVR both programs.

Watching “The Blaze” is the right thing to do. It’s either the beginning of the turnaround, or the last hurrah for a free America.

I think a network could spring up to the right of Fox. Let Fox be Fox and maybe someone will have luck launching a news channel for conservatives.

Don’t even talk to Obama. It’s time his side took a sock in the mouth for voting so stupid. And yes, I’m middle class.

Yes. We're in a war. Ignoring it doesn't make it go away. Most of us figured this out before our tenth birthday.

Judo is not ignoring a fight. Judo is using your opponent’s attack against him. And Judo is not just standing there after you have flipped your opponent and then wait for him to attack you again. Once you have flipped him, you put a choke hold on him until he gives up or passes out or dies. What is foolish is to see your opponent coming at you with a baseball bat and putting your hands down by your sides while you hope that the bat breaks before he kills you. Since you’ve decided to be snarky, it appears that you haven’t reached your tenth birthday, yet.

That’s utter nonsense. American Jews have turned their faces from Israel, and I don’t notice them becoming all that badly off. And, I might add, they’re supposed to be the “Chosen People.”

Abandoning Israel won’t hurt us. Abandoning both Israel and Saudi Arabia would un-complicate our foreign policy greatly.

And I know that the Arabs are inbred, low-IQ savages. That’s hardly news.
